The jaw rock crusher consists of a crushing chamber composed of a movable jaw and a static jaw, simulating the movement of an animal's two jaws to complete the material crushing operation. It has a simple structure, is easy to manufacture, and works reliably. It is widely used in various industries such as mining smelting, building materials, highways, railways, water conservancy, and chemicals to crush various ores and large materials. The highest compressive strength of the crushed material is 320Mpa.
Simple Pendulum Jaw Rock Crusher
The simple pendulum jaw crusher equipment mainly consists of components such as a fixed jaw, a movable jaw, front and rear thrust plates, a flywheel, and an eccentric shaft.
The movable jaw body of the simple pendulum jaw rock crusher is independent of the eccentric wheel and relies on the thrust plate to transmit force to the movable jaw body. The top of the movable jaw body is installed in the hanging shaft, swinging back and forth around the hanging shaft. The movement trajectory of the simple pendulum jaw crusher equipment's movable jaw body is straightforward, and the crushing efficiency is low, so it has been essentially replaced by the complex pendulum jaw rock crusher.
Complex Pendulum Jaw Rock Crusher
The complex pendulum jaw rock crusher integrates the movable jaw body and the connecting rod into one whole based on the simple pendulum jaw crusher equipment. The eccentric shaft also acts as the hanging shaft of the movable jaw body, and the thrust plates are simplified from two to one.
The complex pendulum jaw rock crusher drives the movable jaw to reciprocate through the rotation of the eccentric shaft, causing periodic gap changes between the movable jaw and the fixed jaw, thus subjecting the material within the crushing chamber to impacts, squeezes, and cutting forces, ultimately achieving crushing. The complex pendulum jaw crusher equipment has features such as a high crushing ratio, strong production capacity, low energy consumption, and convenient maintenance, and it has been widely used both domestically and internationally.
When the jaw crusher equipment works, the movable jaw plate performs periodic reciprocating motions against the fixed jaw plate, sometimes approaching and sometimes departing. When approaching, the material is crushed by being squeezed, split, and impacted between the two jaw plates. When departing, the crushed material is discharged from the discharge port by gravity.
In the process of crushing large rocks into small stones, the first crusher usually serves as the "primary" crusher. The jaw rock crusher has the longest history and is the most robust crusher. When feeding the jaw crusher equipment, material is poured into the crushing chamber containing jaw teeth from the top entrance, and the jaw teeth exert enormous force to push the material towards the chamber wall, crushing it into smaller stones.
The movement of the jaw teeth is supported by an eccentric shaft, which runs through the frame of the machine. The eccentric movement is usually generated by flywheels fixed at both ends of the shaft. The flywheel and eccentric support bearings often use spherical roller bearings, which must withstand great impact loads, abrasive waters, and high temperatures.
