Introduction to Vertical Impact Crusher


The vertical shaft crusher differs in structure and working principle from conventional jaw crushers, cone crushers, and roller crushers, which are all types of forced crushing equipment. It also differs from conventional ball mills and autogenous and semi-autogenous mills, which are probabilistic grinding equipment. Furthermore, it is distinct from traditional impact crushers and hammer crushers, making it a new type of impact crusher.

Working Principle of Vertical Impact Crusher


Material is vertically dropped from the top into the high-speed rotating impeller of the vertical impact crusher. Under the effect of high-speed centrifugal force, it collides and crushes with another part of the material that is distributed in an umbrella shape around the impeller, resulting in high-speed impact and crushing. After mutual impact, the material then forms a vortex between the impeller and the casing, causing continual mutual impact and friction until it is crushed and discharged directly from the bottom. This process forms a closed-circuit multiple cycles, controlled by screening equipment to achieve the desired particle size of the final product.
